5 Hacks To Help You Ace Your Summer Studies

5 Hacks To Help You Ace Your Summer Studies

Summertime is finally here! And while that means plenty of sunny days spent outdoors, it also means it’s time to buckle down and get started on those summer studies. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed, never fear! We’ve got 5 great hacks to help you make the most of your summer learning with National Training’s accredited online courses.

1. Get organised

The first step to any successful study venture is organisation, and your summer studies are no different. Create a study schedule and stick to it as best you can. Dedicate certain days and times of week to specific subjects or tasks. And don’t forget to factor in some time for relaxation and summer fun! A well-rested student is a productive student.

2. Create a study space

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you can’t create a dedicated study space in your home. Find a quiet corner, clear off a spot on the dining room table, or set up shop at the kitchen counter. Wherever you choose to study, make sure it’s comfortable and free of distractions like TV or social media. It’ll make your Business or Leadership & Management classes so much easier to focus on!

3. Create a study playlist

Studying doesn’t have to be all work and no play. One of the best ways to stay motivated while you’re studying is by listening to music. Create a playlist of fun summer songs that pump you up and make you feel good, and listen to it while you’re studying. Not only will the music help keep you focused, but it will also put you in a positive mindset so you can approach your assignments with confidence.

4. Find a study buddy

One of the best ways to stay motivated during summer studies is to find a friend or family member who’s also working on their own academic goals. Maybe you’re completing a National Training Diploma of Logistics with someone else you know! You can help each other out by studying together, sharing helpful resources, and holding each other accountable when one of you feels like taking a break instead of cracking open the books. It can be hard to see others having fun in the sun whilst you’re studying, but studying with a mate sure makes it easier!

5. Reward yourself!

Last but not least, remember to give yourself a pat on the back (or maybe even an ice cream cone!) once you’ve completed a task or hit a milestone in your studies. A little positive reinforcement goes a long way in helping you stay motivated throughout the summer months, so give yourself that icy pole, as a little treat.

With these great hacks in your toolkit, you’re sure to have a successful summer learning experience with National Training! Just remember to stay organised, focus on quality over quantity, take advantage of online resources, find yourself a study buddy, and don’t forget to reward yourself along the way. Happy studying!
